Investment is more than numbers; it is a tool for growth, empowerment, and transformation. Assetium Group is redefining how Nigerians perceive wealth, opportunity, and national development. With a vision that spans commodities, real estate, and solid minerals, the company goes beyond traditional investment paradigms, emphasizing long-term prosperity for individuals, communities, and the nation. Mr. Kelvin Ihongbe, Director of Assetium Group, grants insights to the company, its impact across sectors, and the leadership principles that guide its success.

In an era when many investors are limited to familiar, often stagnant options, Assetium Group offers a fresh perspective. “Assetium Group is built on the idea that people deserve investment options beyond what is traditionally offered. “We want to open new investment opportunities that will help people create wealth for generations.”

The company operates through three subsidiaries: Assetium Capital Management Limited, Assetium Consult, and Assetium Properties Limited, each focusing on asset management, financial advisory, commodities trading, and real estate development. Mr. Ihongbe highlights that the firm’s biggest strengths lie in its people, robust processes, and adoption of modern technology. “We’re not doing business the old way. We are reinventing possibilities.”

“We want to open new investment opportunities that will help people create wealth for generations.”

Agrocentric

Beyond financial returns, Assetium Group prioritizes national development. Agriculture and food production are central to this mission. “The government is working hard to improve food security. We support that effort. Commodities are a major part of Nigeria’s economy, and by investing in them, we create jobs, build wealth, and support stability.”  Assetium partners directly with farmers, helping them organize, scale production, and access larger markets. The company acts as an aggregator, linking local producers to major buyers and strengthening the agricultural value chain. This approach fosters grassroots wealth and builds a resilient ecosystem that benefits the nation.

Spotlighting Opportunity in Commodities

The company’s strategic attention to commodity markets is deliberate. “ “A few years ago, a ton of ginger cost ₦1.5 million. Today, that same ton sells for over ₦12 million. That is the real value.” Other commodities such as cashew nuts, soybeans, turmeric, and corn are in growing demand locally and internationally. Through strategic investment, Assetium demonstrates that agriculture is capable of delivering significant profit when managed efficiently. One of Assetium’s signature initiatives, Agri-Lift 500, is designed to empower 500 farmers through access to tools, training, and broader markets. The project begins in Kwara State and will expand to Abuja, Niger, and other regions. “We want to help farmers move from small-scale operations to commercially viable levels. This is not just corporate responsibility; it is a gateway to long-term stability for families.”

A Leader with Experience and Vision

At the helm of Assetium Group is Mr. Kelvin Ihongbe, whose 22-year career spans asset management, portfolio oversight, and investment leadership. “I started as a sales officer at ARM Financial Services. I spent years learning the system and later served as a board member for 10 years. It has been a journey of growth, leadership, and impact.”

He is deeply committed to mentoring and building people. “If you don’t know something, that’s fine. But you must be willing to learn.” Despite the high demands of the investment world, he emphasizes balance. “Your family is your anchor. They are your strength when work pressure gets tough.” Beyond business, he enjoys jazz and gospel music, traveling, reading, and even dancing. “I used to DJ back in the day,” he adds with a laugh.

For prospective partners, Mr. Ihongbe underscores Assetium’s guiding principles, summarized in the acronym PRIDE—Professionalism, Resilience, Integrity, Dynamism, and Environmental friendliness. “A partnership with us is more than an agreement; it is a shared mission,” he explains. “We work with stakeholders, customers, and regulators, and we all speak one language: value creation. Anyone partnering with Assetium is guaranteed optimal results and professional service.”

As Assetium Group expands its reach across Nigeria and beyond, the mission remains consistent: redefine investment, empower individuals, and strengthen communities. “At Assetium, we’re not just managing assets, we are building lives, supporting dreams, and changing the way people see investment.” Assetium Group is more than a company, it is a movement, a vision, and a promise for a more inclusive financial future. For Nigerians seeking opportunity, security, and growth, it represents a pathway not only to wealth, but to impact.
